Howdy!

I’m Elizabeth D. Jennings: a math teacher, grad student, writer, and part-time wizard based in Northwest Arkansas.

I love to write about the weird, the uncanny, and the magical. Really, I just love magic (I think it’s neat)! I write lyric poetry, flash fiction, short fiction, not-so-short fiction… a bit of everything, but most of it has a little of the mythic hidden somewhere in there. I also love my home, so elements of the Ozarks, small-town America, and the South tend to crop up.

I hold a B.S. in physics from Abilene Christian University, and am working on an M.A. in mathematics while I teach high school math. I do not write about math. Math has enough letters in it already; I don’t intend to give it any more.

I’ve learned so much by sharing my writing and by reading the amazing works shared by other writers. If you’ve come to this site, odds are you’ve been a part of that delightful exchange in some way—so, thank you! My (very short) list of publications can be found here, or by clicking on the button handily labeled ‘publications’ at the top of the page.
